THE FOLLOWING NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL FLAGS REPRESENT JUST SOME OF THE COUNTRIES WHERE TYRONE FRASER OFFSPRING HAVE WANDERED TOO

The following is family information taken from a certified copy of a Parliamentary Religious Census conducted in the year 1766. This is copy  of the original census and was edited by the Rev Tomas O' Fiaich and names various parishes & townlands. There are two occassions when the name Fraser appears in these papers. This is the first account of the Scottish Clan Fraser appearing in any record for the Townlands of Ballinsollus or Derryloran.

Also stated in the census relating to another parish:

Be it observed: The rebellious Insurrection called Hearts of Oak, took its rise in this Parish (Killeshill) nor is it to be wondered at, when the Dissenters here, shall be known to be, what they really are, the spawn of Scottish Covenanters, avowed enemies to all Civil and religious Establishments and the most violent and furious persecutors of the established clergy, during the late troubles in the North of Ireland.

Charles Humble - Rector Omagh 2 April 1766

Our records in Ireland started with the religious census of 1766. Religion has played a large part in the family's morals and way of life ever since We hope the wider family circle will enjoy another 230 years together
