THE FOLLOWING NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL FLAGS REPRESENT JUST SOME OF THE COUNTRIES WHERE TYRONE FRASER OFFSPRING HAVE WANDERED TOO

The following family information was taken from the Griffiths Valuation for the Union of Cookstown. These papers are kept at the Public  Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI). The Griffiths Valuation was completed between 1840 and 1860.

 VALUATION OF TENEMENTS

PARISH OF KILDRESS

For the townland of Ballynasollus on pages 96 & 97 of the valuation records.

The Ballinasollus townland, Kildress Parish were part of the Stuart Estates.

                       Area      A = Acre   R = Rod    P = Perch

Occupiers           Immediate Lessors                      Description of Tenement                          A  R  P

David Frazer      Earl of Castlestuart              House, office, land with 2 Cottiers houses         14  2  0

as you can see David Frazer had three areas of land                   second area                         13  2  0

                                                                                                  third area                             14  2  30

William Frazer    Earl of Castlestuart              House, office & land                                        25  1  30

John Frazer        Earl of Castlestuart              House, office & land                                        24  3   0

as you can see John Frazer had two areas of land                       second area                          5   1  30

These records show three brothers resident at Ballinasollus - while the earlier 1766 Religious Census shows only one Fraser resident, which leaves us with a time gap of 70  years or so which has yet to be investigated.

We're stuck for a while at the moment

Don't worry we will prevail!!!
